The examination can be performed at any age, during pregnancy, and while breastfeeding. The examination is best performed between 10 and 20 dc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The examination is carried out in a gynecological chair, using a speculum with the help of an optical device &#8211; a colposcope<\/strong> (a microscope that has a magnification capacity of 5 to 50 times).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n            \n        <\/div>\n                    <div class=\"image-part\">\n class=\"wp-block-heading\">The study is divided into several stages:<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n    <section id=\"spacer-block_b781d50f0dca21ec4c2347da746ec384\"\n             class=\"block-spacer  height-32px background-transparent\">\n    <\/section>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li>Evaluation of vaginal contents (color, clarity, density and arrangement of plaques).<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Evaluation of the color and surface structure of the vaginal vascular bed epithelium.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Trial with 3% acetic acid aqueous solution to differentiate the cervical epithelium, preliminary diagnosis of the process of precancerous lesions of early cervical cancer.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Iodine test, which involves washing the surface to be evaluated with an aqueous iodine solution, which should confirm the previously observed changes or lack thereof.<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p>At the end of the examination, the patient receives a description of the examination. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n    <section id=\"spacer-block_2df4f1b6f1f04fd0aa4d652821264508\"\n             class=\"block-spacer  height-64px background-transparent\">\n    <\/section>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Indications for the study: <\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n    <section id=\"spacer-block_b781d50f0dca21ec4c2347da746ec384\"\n             class=\"block-spacer  height-32px background-transparent\">\n    <\/section>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li>Abnormal cytology test result.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Collection of a cervical specimen for histopathological examination.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Detection of HPV infection.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>For follow-up after previous colposcopic examinations.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Evaluation of lesions suggestive of a precancerous condition or early stage of cervical cancer.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Erosion, polyp or hypertrophy of the cervix.<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li>Period.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Allergy to acetic acid solution.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Allergies to iodine.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n    <section id=\"spacer-block_2df4f1b6f1f04fd0aa4d652821264508\"\n             class=\"block-spacer  height-64px background-transparent\">\n    <\/section>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation for the study:<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n    <section id=\"spacer-block_b781d50f0dca21ec4c2347da746ec384\"\n             class=\"block-spacer  height-32px background-transparent\">\n    <\/section>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li>Intercourse should be abandoned a few days before the scheduled test.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>At least 24 hours before the test, vaginal chemicals (drugs, liquids, spermicides) should not be used.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>No irrigation should be performed 24 hours before the test.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>24 hours before the test, do not use chemicals to wash the intimate area &#8211; wash the intimate area only with water.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Tests needed for the procedure are: HIV, HCV, Hbs, INR\/ APTT and cytology.<\/strong><div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n    <section id=\"spacer-block_2df4f1b6f1f04fd0aa4d652821264508\"\n             class=\"block-spacer  height-64px background-transparent\">\n    <\/section>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">After the test: <\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n    <section specific recommendations after the test, but if an epithelial slice was taken for histopathological examination, one should abstain from intercourse for a period of 7 days.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
