Did you know that the most common cause of miscarriages is genetic diseases of the fetus? They are responsible for as many as 80% of cases of pregnancy loss. This means that the cause of miscarriage can be one of the syndromes: Down’s, Turner’s, Edwards’ or Patau, among others, which developed in the child.<\/p>\n

To confirm this, it is necessary to perform a genetic test met. PCR, which accurately analyzes chromosomes: 13, 15, 16, 18, 21, 22, as well as the X and Y sex chromosomes, most often associated with the development of genetic defect syndromes.<\/p>\n

You must remember that these types of genetic diseases are not hereditary, so even if no one in your family suffers from them, it does not mean that the disease did not develop in the child when you were pregnant. Secure the material for testing<\/h3>\n

Whether the miscarriage occurred at home or in the hospital, the miscarriage material can be secured and submitted to the Gyncentrum Genetic Laboratory for testing. It should be delivered within a maximum of 48 hours<\/strong>. Fill out the test order form<\/h3>\n

Along with the material from the miscarriage, a properly completed test order should be delivered to the Gyncentrum Genetic Laboratory. The form should be signed by one of the parents.

Pay for the test<\/h3>\n

The test must be paid on the day the abortion material is delivered to the Gyncentrum Genetic Laboratory. You can pay for the test by bank transfer or by cash or card on site at Gyncentrum clinics. Confirmation of the transfer should be sent to e-mail: lab.sosnowiec@gyncentrum.pl or deliver it in hard copy to the point where the material for the test is deposited.<\/p>\n<\/span>\n <\/div>\n
