Dr. n. med. Agnieszka Padjas
Graduate of the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow.
Since 2005, she has been working in the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine at the Jagiellonian University Medical College. She is a senior assistant at the Clinical Department of Allergy and Immunology at the University Hospital in Krakow, a consulting physician at the Outpatient Clinic for Immunological and Hypercoagulable Diseases, and a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and the School of Medicine for Foreigners at the Jagiellonian University’s Collegium Medicum. She also works on the editorial board of Practical Medicine.
She received her doctorate in medicine in 2008. Her doctoral dissertation: “Antibodies against homocysteinylated proteins in selected autoimmune diseases” was awarded by the Faculty Council of the Jagiellonian University’s Collegium Medicum.
In her daily work, she deals with patients with autoimmune and allergic diseases. She is particularly interested in the treatment of: asthma, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, atopic dermatitis, food allergies, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, systemic scleroderma, as well as the diagnosis of thrombophilias and causes of obstetric failures (habitual miscarriages). In addition, he is also involved in the diagnosis and treatment of immunodeficiencies.
He is a member of the Society of Polish Internists (TIP), the Polish Society of Allergology and the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH).
