The objective of the project is: To increase the research activity and innovation of the Company’s offerings as a result of R&D work enabling the development and testing of a process innovation and an innovative service for the personalization of chimeric antigen receptor viral vectors in the period from 01.07.2021 to 30.06.2023 and to commercialize the results of the project through their implementation on the market
The scope of work includes: Industrial research on the development of a system for replication of viral vectors of chimeric antigen receptors in a closed cell culture system.
Development work on confirming the possibility of personalization of viral vectors of chimeric receptors
The project will result in: Dissemination of research results, market implementation of process and service innovation, min. 1 patent application/design, increase in sales, entry into a new market, transfer of knowledge and technology as a result of intensified cooperation with the scientific unit, increase in the competitiveness of the company.

Countering the spread of COVID-19 by retrofitting the laboratory of GYNCENTRUM Ltd. with specialized equipment for the automatic isolation of nucleic acids.
Project title: Countering the spread of COVID-19 by retrofitting the laboratory of GYNCENTRUM Ltd. with specialized equipment for the automatic isolation of nucleic acids.
The purpose of the project is: is to increase the availability of diagnostic tests for the determination of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus through the purchase of 7 highly specialized devices (fixed assets) that are laboratory equipment and 3 sets of reagents.
The project will result in an increase in the number of tests performed from 800 to 10,000/day, increase staff safety, eliminate human error by replacing manual work with an automatic isolation system, improve
diagnostic procedures and building a knowledge base for prevention, prevention, eradication of COVID-19, and assessing the diversity of SARS-CoV-2 virus variants in the population of the Silesian province.

The amount of PLN 117,600.00 was covered by the state budget within the framework of the territorial contract.
NI PGT-A – realization of research and development work to market non-invasive preimplantation diagnosis of aneuploidies
Project title: “NI PGT-A – realization of research and development work for commercialization of non-invasive preimplantation diagnosis of aneuploidies”.
The aim of the project is to increase the research activity and innovation of the Company’s offerings by developing an algorithm for non-invasive preimplantation diagnosis of aneuploidy (NI PGT-A) as a result of R&D work between August 2020 and July 2022, and to commercialize the results of the project through their implementation in the assisted reproduction procedure.

Development of perinatal care through increased availability of prenatal testing in the Silesian Province
Project title: “Development of perinatal care by increasing the availability of prenatal testing in the Silesian Province”.
The aim of the project is to improve health, improve quality of life, reduce health inequalities by increasing access to health services: perinatal care in the Silesian province.
The project aims to cover prenatal testing of 4180 pregnant women (in Katowice, Bielsko-Biała and Częstochowa) who are ineligible for testing with NFZ funds, are under 35 years of age and reside in the Silesian province, including women at risk of poverty or social exclusion.
Results: implementation of the objectives of the Healthy Mother and Child PAP: Module II, a cross-cutting (training) module. Tasks in the project include: prenatal examinations, support for parents and a pathway to deal with the detection of a birth defect, training for medical personnel, including POZ (Partner).

Innovative management algorithm to increase cancer detection rate
Project title “Innovative management algorithm to increase cancer detection”.
The aim of the project is to market an innovative algorithm for dealing with disease processes caused by HPV.
Thanks to the purchase of laboratory equipment, GYNCENTRUM’s offer has been expanded to include HPV carrier testing with simultaneous identification for cervical and throat cancer.

Organizing a school of conscious parenting for promoting health-promoting attitudes among parents of the Silesian province.
Project title: “Organization of a school of conscious parenting for the promotion of pro-health attitudes among parents of the Silesian province.”
The aim of the project is to improve health, quality of life, reduce health inequalities by increasing access to health services implemented in the school of conscious parenthood in the Silesian province. The project envisages providing support to 2478 persons who meet the criteria for inclusion in the program, i.e. residents of the Silesian province, women from 20 weeks of physiological pregnancy their partners and other persons supporting them, including persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion.
Results: implementation of the objectives of the PAP “Healthy Mother and Child”: Module I, a cross-cutting (training) module. Tasks in the project include: organization of a school of conscious parenting, support for parents, training for medical personnel.
