How to become an egg donor?
Stage I:
The potential donor fills out the FORM.
Stage II:
Our specialist contacts the donor (by phone or email) for a complementary interview and preliminary information about the procedure of egg donation.
Stage III:
After passing stages I and II, the first visit to the Gyncentrum Clinic takes place, during which the specialist conducts a medical and family history and a detailed conversation about formal issues related to egg cell collection and donation.
Stage IV:
Medical consultation of the donor and collection of biological material for testing.
Stage V:
Conclusion of the oocyte donation contract between the donor and Gyncenter.
Stage VI:
After obtaining correct results of all tests, hormonal stimulation of the donor and monitoring of ovarian follicles is carried out, followed by collection of mature oocytes. The entire procedure of stimulation and oocyte retrieval is carried out under close medical supervision.
Oocyte donation - frequently asked questions

- support from doctors and a caregiver;
- free laboratory tests (including: CFTR, karyotype, hepatitis B/C, HIV, virology tests, cytology, blood group determination, thyroid hormone tests, and general tests) so you can learn more about your condition;

While breastfeeding, one cannot become an egg donor. This is dictated by medical reasons and the safety of the woman and her child. You can join the donation program at the earliest 3 months after you stop breastfeeding. An application must be sent at that time. Breastfeeding does not exclude, but only postpones the possibility of becoming an oocyte donor. We look forward to receiving your application!
We welcome your decision! Your willingness to participate in the donation program is confirmation that it is a positive experience for female donors. Our coordinators do their best to make the process smooth, fast and friendly. If you have already been in the oocyte donation program at our clinic, fill out the initial form once again. All information about you must be updated as it may be relevant to the new process. Previously provided information counts, but also information that has changed, such as the birth of a child, an operation, a change of job, a change of residence, the start of medication, the diagnosis of an illness or ailment, etc. All these aspects will be considered by us in the qualification process. You will then be informed if it will be possible for you to participate in the process.
REMEMBER! For your safety, it must be about 6 months after the previous LP for us to retrieve the cells again.
If you are currently pregnant, you are not allowed to join the egg cell donation program. This is dictated by important medical reasons and the safety of you and your child. Remember, however, that the refusal decision applies only to the state of pregnancy. After giving birth, as much as possible you have a chance to help and become a donor at our clinic. After the baby is born, your body needs time to return to its pre-pregnancy state. Therefore, we recommend that you send your application after the postpartum period is completely over, when you start menstruating again (at least 3 regular cycles/normal menstruation) or 3 months after the end of breastfeeding. Before submitting the form, also consider whether you will be able to provide care for your baby during clinic visits as part of the ongoing process. We look forward to hearing from you!
The fact that you are using birth control pills at the time you send in the application form does not disqualify you from participating in the egg donation program. Before you send in the form, however, consider whether you will be ready to stop taking the pill for about a month. The donation program coordinator will let you know exactly when this will happen. Contraceptive protection will not be maintained during this time. If you are using hormonal contraception for medical reasons, be sure to talk to your health care provider about this before submitting.
Be sure to include all medications you use, including those used to treat acne, in the submission form.
