In vitro programs

This is the only such comprehensive program in Poland in which patients are guaranteed a fixed price for infertility treatment that ends in pregnancy, or reimbursed 100% of the cost. As part of a one-time flat fee, the couple receives access to the medical procedures and services required for in vitro fertilization, including advanced techniques to increase the effectiveness of IVF. The program covers up to 6 IVF cycles.

The program is designed for couples whose infertility problem is dictated by the female factor. We qualify women who have no ova of their own, have significantly reduced AMH levels, are after ovarian removal, multiple miscarriages, unsuccessful IVF attempts or suffer from premature ovarian function syndrome. During the procedure, we use an egg cell taken from an anonymous donor and fertilize it with the sperm of the patient’s partner.

The program involves paying for two IVF cycles in advance. If neither of them results in pregnancy, the patient receives a third cycle as a gift – completely free of charge. If, on the other hand, the first IVF – IMSI procedure already results in pregnancy, the couple is reimbursed for the unused second cycle. The success rate of treatment under the 2+1 program reaches 90% with three cycles.

Under the program, the patient is provided with:

• Medical visits including ultrasound,
• Laboratory tests to determine the patient’s hormone levels during the stimulation period,
• Injection of stimulation drugs in the clinic,
• Ovarian puncture,
• General anesthesia for the puncture procedure,
• Embryological procedures of in vitro fertilization,
• Embryo culture to blastocyst stage (PKE),
• Primo Vision embryo monitoring,
• Transfer to two obtained unfrozen embryos,
• Twice post-transfer beta HCG testing.

In vitro fertilization is a rather expensive procedure, and as a result, not every infertile couple is able to pay for it on their own. Local IVF programs, which more and more Polish cities are joining, are supposed to partially solve this problem, thus reducing infertility among Poles. Couples enrolled in the program are usually entitled to a one-time subsidy for the in vitro fertilization procedure.

The program is designed for couples in whom the infertility problem is dictated by the female factor and on the association with low ovarian reserve (reduced AMH levels and low number of antral follicles on ultrasound). The program’s activities are aimed at maximizing the chance of collecting mature and good quality oocytes, good quality embryos and their transfer under the most optimal conditions and time.

Under the program, the patient is provided with:

• A qualifying consultation,
• Medical visits with ultrasound examinations,
• Laboratory tests to determine the patient’s hormone levels during the stimulation period,
• Injection of stimulation drugs in the clinic,
• Oocyte puncture,
• General anesthesia for the puncture procedure and anesthesiological consultation before the oocyte retrieval procedure,
• Embryological procedures of in vitro fertilization,
• Embryo culture up to the fifth day (PKE),
• Assisted Hatching (AH),
• Embryo Glue,
• Transfer to two obtained unfrozen embryos,
• HCG beta testing to verify the outcome of IVF-IMSI procedures(up to two tests),
• Vitrification of embryos and storage for 1 year,
• Primo Vision.
